Афонские монахи отказали президенту США Обаме в посещении Святой Горы.
Согласно сообщениям  некоторых источников президент США Барак Обама попросил разрешения  посетить Афонский  полуостров .
Ответ монахов был однозначным  -  категорическое «нет». По информации «Lithosfotos», формально святогорцы мотивировали свой ответ тем, что раз президент Америки исповедует ислам, то он  не может быть посетителем Афона.

Нет, я, конечно, понимаю, что Обама – онтихрист, ацкий сотона, вавилонская блудница, зверь, дракон, чудо-юдо, и пр. по списку, но с какого перепугу он вдруг стал еще и мусульманином?
Этот миф распространен и среди простых американцев. Но… все же, настолько ли просты святогорцы? Или это утка?

I'm a Christian by choice. My family didn't—frankly, they weren't folks who went to church every week. And my mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew, but she didn't raise me in the church.
